Gettysburg

I'm finally posting again. Here are the last pictures from the trip. This is in Gettysburg, where there are tons of cannons and memorials.

East coast

Here are some pictures of Ben at the Atlantic ocean in Rhode Island.

New York

This is Ben on the George Washington Bridge in New York. You can't see them in the picture, but from the bridge we could see some of the New York skyscrapers.

Colorado

Sorry I haven't posted for so long. Ben recently went on a trip all the way to the east coast. He didn't stop to much on the way but I did get a few pictures. This is him on top of a statue of a dinosaur in Colorado. I'll post more pictures from the trip soon.

trip 3

Sorry it's taken so long to post. On the right is a picture of Ben in Oklahoma and on the left is one of him in New Mexico. Ben is soon going to go on another trip all the way to the east coast.

Trip 2

Another place Ben went to on his trip is a place in Texas with a giant cross. You can see more about it on http://www.crossministries.net/ . Another place Ben went to in Texas is the restaurant The Big Texan. At The Big Texan if you caneat a 72oz. steak dinner in one hour then you can have it for free, if you don't finish it then you have to pay $72. Ben didn't try it, but someone else did while we were there. He had to sit up on a stage to eat the meal and probably didn't finish because he had over half the steak left when there was 15 minutes left on the timer. Also, Ben recently saw Ratatouille. It's really good, just as good as most of the pixar movies, so if you haven't seen it then you should.

Trip 1

Sorry I never said anything about it before, but Ben just returned from a long bike trip to Oklahoma and back. Unfortunetly I was not able to get many pictures, but I did get a few. This picture is on the way to Oklahoma at Bluewater Lake in New Mexico. Ben stopped there to go fishing and ended up catching a huge fish. I'll post more from the trip later.

Big Race

Ben the biker won the big race yesterday! It was close, but Ben was able to come in first. I'll post some pictures from during the race.

Everyone in the race was doing something different, whatever they were best at.

The motorcycle rider took the lead at the beginning and kept it for a lot of the race.
The motorcycle rider began to get to fast and when he tried to turn he crashed. Luckily for him, the motorcycle wasn't damaged except for a tire which he had to change. He was able to change it extremely fast, but Ben was still able to get ahead.
The motorcycle caught up pretty quick and Ben had to work really hard to keep from being passed.There were also some jumps that they had to go off.
On the last stretch Ben went as fast as he could and past the finish line less then a second before the motorcycle.

Sea World

Ben recently went to San Diego's Sea World. There are some new shows for Springs nights going on right now. Shamu Rocks was pretty cool, and the sea lions did a funny show making fun of the other shows that are there.

Race coming up

Ben has been getting ready for a big race that is coming up. It is a race of a bunch of different types of transportation (cars and faster aren't allowed). There will be a runner, horseback rider, motorcycle rider, etc. Ben was picked as the biker. He knows he can probably beat most of the contestants, but he needs to train to go against the motorcycle. He has biked faster then a motorcycle before so there is still a chance.

For earth day this month, Ben was given a free tree. It is supposed to get really big so we will show pictures of it every once in a while so you can see it grow.

Ben hasn't done anything too exciting lately, but he saw this and thought it was really cool.

Chief Greater Bird

Today Ben got a visitor from Chief Great Bird's tribe. If you don't know who he is click the 2006 button on the side. The indian invited him to come and see something with him. On the way Ben was told that this indian had discovered something that made him start a new tribe. Below is why he is now Chief Greater Bird.

Almost Easter

It's almost Easter! Ben recently visited a friend who is a very talented Ukrainian egg painter. Here is a picture with some of her eggs.

feeding ants

Another thing Ben did while in the desert was giant ant feeding. They were big red ants that wouldn't bite you if you had food.

Desert

Last Sunday Ben and I went into the desert. The big thing we did was go in the mud caves. They were huge tunnels carved into the mud and some had very tight fits. Ben also went mud climbing and rode around in the desert.
